Since 2019, Seema has stirred up Masala listeners’ fitness goals with innovative monthly fitness challenges and local community organization coverage on Timepass Tuesdays every evening 8-10PM.  Born in Baroda, raised in Ahmedabad, she brought her deep Gujju roots to the USA in the early 2000’s.  Seema first immigrated to Freemont,  soaking up the Californian landscape while living her single life “Ek Dum Dil Se.”   “I left Bay Area as my “Maikka” in 2005, and embraced Houston as my “Sasural” – my permanent home – where I have grown as a person and finally integrated into this wonderful land!”  Herself a fitness nut, she balances her IT day job with evenings and weekends filled with travel, water parks and thrill rides (Schlitterbahn), hiking, biking, kayaking, parasailing, and all outdoor activities.  She believes “The traveler sees what he sees. The tourist sees what he has come to see” and therefore loves to visit new place as a traveler without any agenda, with a small backpack, making sure to ride local buses & trains to feel real local vibes.  She swears she can never just “stay home and do nothing” and even under stay-at-home orders she created the  Masala Fitness Challenge with prizes every month!  On air, Seema maintains that Bollywood music has been her constant throughout the lows and highs of her life.   While a die hard Shah Rukh Khan fan (you the type – first day first show) , she really loves all genres of Bollywood Music, and strives to uplift her audience with songs to match the moods of the day.  “Life should be full of surprises!”
